Several people has asked how to tell which chassis configuration they have for a 2006 RR8R coach.
You can tell the difference in front watts for the years 2001-2006 and 2007-2013 for the RR8R Diplomat, Knight, Cheetah, Endeavor, Ambassador and Cayman. with a simple measurement. If you have a 2006 your coach may have the newer layout if it was produced later in the year.
See the products page on monacowatts.com. There are help files on how to determine what model fits your coach. Essentially we need just one measurement.

I am not where I can measure my coach right now but I can tell you it is a 2006 40' DST Diplomat that was manufactured in August of 2005 and it has no springs on any of the hydraulic jacks. It would appear Monaco used the later design on at least one early 2006.
Most 2006 and later coaches that have jacks with no springs measure 6 1/4" for the gap between the jack mount and back of the h-frame. But you can never be sure since Monaco did vary the design some.
